Still kicking goals

For over 30 years, Waverley Park was a premier sporting venue attracting thousands of passionate football supporters. These days, its football heritage is alive and well with Hawthorn Football Club using the transformed Sir Kenneth Luke stand as its administrative and training headquarters. This means residents can enjoy football up close and personal as they watch the Hawks train on the original AFL oval, almost in their own backyard.

Plus residents can also take part in the Mirvac Waverley Park Community Kids Footy Clinic, which involves kids aged from around 5 to 15 training with Hawks' footy legends and current players.
